03 Creamy Shrimp Alfredo Pasta

Indulgent Creamy Shrimp Alfredo

  • Preparation Time: 10 minutes
  • Cook Time: 20 minutes
  • Total Time: 30 minutes
  • Serves: 4 people

Ingredients:

  1. 1 lb The Big Prawn Shrimp,Raw Peeled and Deveined
  2. 12 oz (340 g) fettuccine pasta
  3. 2 tablespoons butter
  4. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  5. 4 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 1 cup heavy cream
  7. 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  8. 1 cup milk
  9. 1/2 teaspoon salt
  10. 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  11. 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  12. 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Pasta:
    1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
    2. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente.
    3. Drain the pasta, reserving 1/2 cup of pasta water, and set aside.
  2. Prepare the Shrimp:
    1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil and butter over medium-high heat. 2.
    Add the shrimp and cook for 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. 3.
    Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Make the Alfredo Sauce:
    1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and cook for about 1 minute
    until fragrant. 2. Pour in the heavy cream and milk, stirring to combine.
    3. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, then reduce the heat to low. 4. Gradually whisk
    in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce is smooth and creamy. 5. Season with
    salt, black pepper, and nutmeg (if using).
  4. Combine and Serve:
    1. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce, tossing to coat the pasta evenly.
    2. If the sauce is too thick, add some of the reserved pasta water to reach the desired
    consistency.
    3. Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and gently toss to
    combine. 4. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve immediately.
